So, the team @salumiaustralia may have helped me brush up on my Italian since this video informing me that “Finocchietto” is pronounced with a “k” sound rather than a “ch” sound but what I did know at the time was that sliced super thin with the freshly made ricotta and hot honey it’s a bloody winning combo on a pizza!

Ingredients
- 1 Stretched pizza dough
- 1 Salumi Australia Finocchietto
- 1 400g Mutti Tomatoes
- Low moisture mozzarella
- Small handful of fresh ricotta
- Dried oregano
- 1 Lemon
- Hot honey
Method
- 1)
Stretch out one quantity of pizza dough, slice the Salumi Australia Finocchietto super thin.
- 2)
Top the pizza with a thin layer of crushed tomato, season with a little pinch of flakey salt and crack of pepper, pop on a little low moisture mozzarella, layer up the Finocchietto,
- 3)
Cook the pizza at 450 – 470C in your pizza oven.
- 4)
Crumble over some fresh ricotta, sprinkle of flakey salt, dusting of dried oregano and a squeeze of lemon then finish with a drizzle of hot honey over the top of everything.
