Dakos Salad

Our fresh, textural & delicious take on a ‘Dakos salad’ using only the best @dodoni_feta with beautiful in-season tomatoes!

  • 50 g Dodoni Feta
  • 600 g Mix fresh in season gourmet tomatoes
  • 2 slices Sourdough
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 Lemon
  • Pinch dried oregano
  • 2 tsp Baby capers
  • 1/4 Red onion
  • 1 handful Pitted Kalamata olives
  • 1 handful Fresh parsley
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Flakey salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper


  • 1)

    Zest 1 clove of garlic into a dish and add a drizzle of olive oil. Paint it on two slices of sourdough and pop them in the toaster until brown.

    Slice up your gourmet tomatoes in a few different directions to create some texture in your salad and add those to a mixing bowl.
    Cut the cheek off your lemon and squeeze over the tomatoes. Add a sprinkle of Flakey salt, pinch of dried oregano and crack of black pepper.
    Add 2 tsp of baby capers. add half a small handful of pitted Kalamata olives, add 1/4 finely sliced red onion and a small handful of finely sliced flat leaf parsley.

    Tear up the toasted sourdough and add that to the salad. Crumble 50g of Dodoni Feta into the salad and give it a good drizzle with some extra virgin olive oil The get your hands in there to mix it all through.

    Transfer from your mixing bowl to your favourite salad bowl for serving.
