Ingredients
- 1 bunch Spring onion
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Finely chopped ginger
- 1/2 tsp Palm sugar
- 1 Red chilli
- 1 bunch Fresh coriander
- 200 g Green prawns , shells off
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Tamari/soy sauce
- 1 pack Wonton wrappers (25)
- Sesame seeds
- Chilli oil , optional
Method
- 1)
Finely chop 1 tbs of spring onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 tbs of ginger, 1/2 tsp of palm sugar, 1 red chilli and 1 tbs of coriander leaves.
- 2)
Shell and devein prawns then finely slice 200g raw green prawn meat.
- 3)
Combine those chopped ingredients in a bowl.
- 4)
Add 1 tbsp of shaoxing wine, 1 tsp of sesame oil and 1 tbsp of tamari/soy sauce and mix.

Place approx 1 tsp of prawn mix into center of wonton wrapper, bring the corners together at the top and pinch together above the top of the mixture, give it a little twist to create a “money bag” shape. Check our reel to see Nick make them.

Get a pot of water on a rolling boil, Spin the water then add in your wontons. After 2 mins remove them with a slotted spoon onto a serving platter.

Top wontons with some tamari/soy sauce, a few drops of sesame oil, chilli oil (optional), finley sliced spring onion and coriander and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
